The vocabulary is the talk of the carrier, abbreviations as vocabulary system in the sector, once to seep through the people daily life each category. Whether it is leafing through magazines and newspapers, listen to the live news, reading page information, still looked the name of the city of the eve of the streets, governmental agencies and trading firm in the title, abbreviations are often emerge in large numbers, the scene caused scholars concern. So, based on the detailed information, the Russian abbreviations stop discussion. This paper is made up of three parts: introduction, main body and conclusion. The introduction introduces the background of the growth of Russian abbreviations, this basically presents the research purpose, methods and significance. Main body is divided into four chapters: Chapter one expounds the pragmatic research status of abbreviation in Russian science and growth, abbreviation of pragmatic research present situation. The second chapter discusses the Russian abbreviations four terms. By compare the relationship between the four and confirms the research object for the color, and on this basis the component type stop dividing. The third chapter is a key chapter of this paper, trying to analyze the pragmatic functions of the Russian abbreviations, namely "economic efficiency", "unique, efficient and easy dispersion effect, strengthen said force effect", and to the abbreviation "to express the funny and satirical effect." In the fourth chapter, from the perspective of politics, economy, science and technology, military and cultural analysis of the factors influence the application of Russian abbreviations, and put forward two suggestions for the Russian abbreviations in the application of the results. The conclusion summarizes the full text.
