Abstract:

By the end of the nineteenth Century, the United States had completed the transition from free capitalism to monopoly capitalism, and gradually become a new imperialist power in the world. 1898 - battle erupted, is achievements in expanding the Asia Pacific region and the world order of the United states. American combat to Spain's failure to stop, and signed the "Paris contract between the United States and Spain". The theater in Philippines, because the Spanish American fighting off Spain originally Philippines were ceded to the United states. It is in Philippines, after 300 years of Spanish rule through the beginning to enter the era of American rule. Since the time of the international scene and the United States itself is an emerging imperialist powers, so the United States in the formulation of Philippines's political, economic, cultural and other policies and other imperialist differences. From 1898 to 1946 (except 1941 to 1945 years outside the Japanese occupied the times), the United States in Philippines in the past 50 years of rule, the differences in the historical stage and has the characteristics of differences.
