Based on the objectives and the present state of the test, the essay commits itself in an objective analysis on the 2017 test from the perspectives of validity and credibility. Quantitative statistics and the analysis of the data from the results of students' actual examination papers are conducted, which consequently reveals the achievements and weaknesses in the fundamental stage of the Arabic language teaching and learning of the colleges in China, particularly in Beijing Foreign Studies University and Beijing International Studies University. Based on the research work, the teaching and learning of the Arabic language in the fundamental stage conducted throughout of the colleges of China is reflected and discussed in the hope of achieving positive backwash effect and effectively raising teaching quality in the future. |
