Because culture is not static, the dominant culture and politics in different places have exerted much influence on these Miaos; the change of production modes of the Miaos in Thailand is a case in point. This paper gives a historical review of the relevant overseas literature on the Miaos in Thailand and points out their typical features and causes, which should have some significance to the future studies of the Miaos. |
