The cultivation of college students’ autonomy is of great significance. However,students can’t be responsible for their own learning completely in existing Chinese education contexts. Therefore ,learner autonomy under the guidance of teachers is the most feasible mode. However ,in Japanese major teaching ,both the teachers and students lack autonomous consciousness that hinder the cultivation of autonomous ability. To solve the problems ,the teachers should develop autonomous teaching consciousness.
