With the development of communication between China and Japan, the Hua Yi concept also had a profound influence on Japan. It led to Japan developing a similar thought to the Hua Yi concept, which is known as Japan＇s Hua Yi concept. However, there is a vulnerability in Japan＇s Hua Yi concept, in that it has influenced or even determined Japan＇s view of foreign countries. This paper will summarize Japan＇s Hua Yi concept and its history. Secondly, Japan＇s Hua Yi concept will be deconstructed and a profile of its vulnerability will be analyzed as it appeared in the center of the East Asian concept of the Muromachi period.
