Abstract
Through one of the most popular TV series in the world, Downton Abbey, which uses a brand new perspective to restore the history form George V period to the after Britain signed Armistice with Germany in World War I, a vivid picture of manor life has been presented to the audience around the world. The plots of the fortune inherited problems caused by various disputes and friction in Lord Grantham’s family objectively descripted the relationship and human figures between British aristocrats and servants under the British hierarchy system.
The appealing plots bring audience into the noble life of Crawley family, the common life of servants and the environment of whole society. The ups and downs of Lord Grantham family in this drama give us a chance to have a glimpse into the changes of the British manor economic culture.
This article will be divided into four main parts. The first chapter introduces social background. The second chapter focuses on manor economic situation in the United Kingdom before and after the First World War. The third chapter analyses many changes and transformation in the economic and cultural aspects of the British manor after World War I. The fourth chapter focuses on British manor economic and cultural impact on the whole of the United Kingdom economy and society after World War I. Through the attempts to have an insight into the manor economic culture, the author hopes to get a more systematic description and draw appropriate conclusions on the trends of British manor economy. And the author also hopes to appeal volatile regions or countries to cherish peace.

摘 要
吸引全球眼球的英国热播电视剧《唐顿庄园》是讲述了Grantham伯爵一家由家产继承问题引发的种种纠葛和摩擦，并以一种全新的视角相对客观的还原了乔治五世时期到第一次世界大战后的康边停战协定，描述了英国上层贵族与下层仆人在等级制度相当森严的情况下的人间百态。
该剧跌宕起伏的剧情将观众带入Crawley一族的贵族生活和仆人的日常以及一战前后的社会环境之中，通过电视剧Grantham伯爵一家的起伏可以一窥第一次世界大战对庄园经济文化变迁的作用。
本文分为四个部分：第一部分从社会背景介绍了当时英国所在的的社会环境，英语毕业论文，第二部分介绍了第一次世界大战前后的英国庄园经济情况，第三部分略论了第一次世界大战后的英国庄园经济文化方面的诸多变化，英语论文，第四部分集中略论了第一次世界大战后英国庄园经济文化对整个英国经济、社会的作用。通过对以上问题的探讨，作者力争对第一次世界大战以后英国庄园经济文化的趋势进行说明，并对英国经济作用作了较为系统的略论说明并得出相应结论，同时也借此呼吁动荡地区珍惜和爱护和平。
