Abstract
Movie is not only a tool to make it as profitable as possible for the studios, but also a medium that transmits a country’s culture and social values. In America, the superhero genre movie has always been popular for its excellent visual effects and fabulous story, and manifested the American culture and values. Man of Steel, a new shining star in the movie industry, is such a movie that represents individual heroism, one of the core social values that have long existed in American society. Man of Steel, shown in 2017, is a movie that centers on the theme of superman. It tells a story of Kal-El or Clark Kent. The villains came while he was trying to figure out the answers to the questions of his birth. But when he united himself with the human beings, he defeated the evil forces. In the end, the world returned to peace.
In this paper, the author aims at finding out the influences of individual heroism on the American society by analyzing the characteristics of individual heroism manifested in the American movie Man of Steel. Chapter one introduces the historical background of individual heroism and its development in American movies; chapter two focuses on the analysis of the characteristics of individual heroism in Man of Steel; and chapter three expounds the influences of individual heroism to the American society.

如今，电影不仅是一个为电影工作室创造最大利润的工具，而且是传播一个国家文化和社会价值观的媒介。在美国，超级英雄题材的电影因其出色的视觉效果和精彩的故事长期受到人们的青睐，并反映了美国的文化和价值观。《超人：钢铁之躯》是电影业的一颗闪亮的新星，正是这样一部体现了个人英雄主义的电影。个人英雄主义是长期存在于美国社会的核心社会价值观。《超人：钢铁之躯》是一部于2017年上映的超人题材的电影。该电影讲述了卡尔•埃尔或克拉克•肯特的故事。反派在他解开身世之谜的时候来到了地球，但是他在与人类团结一致时，打败了邪恶力量。最终，英语论文题目，全世界重返和平。
本文作者的目标是通过略论美国电影《超人：钢铁之躯》中体现出的个人英雄主义的特点，找出个人英雄主义对美国社会的作用。第一章介绍了个人英雄主义的历史背景及其在美国电影中的发展。第二章主要略论了《超人：钢铁之躯》中个人英雄主义的特点。第三章阐述了个人英雄主义给美国社会带去的作用。
