摘 要：
本文通过展现电影《喜宴》中的场景来详尽说明中西方文化在对待同性恋问题，面子文化，婚礼习俗，家庭伦理联系以及传统思想方面的异同。通过略论得出造成东西方文化异同的主要原因，东西方国家不同的发展历程。中国作为一个有着5000多年封建社会历史的国家，国人思想深受封建主义作用，甚至直到今天很多中国人对待同性恋问题的态度仍然太过迂腐而保守；而西方国家的发展，则是主要依附与手工业，航海业的发展，其社会风气相对开化，英语论文，英语论文，与传统的中国思想有着显著的区别。最后文章再次总结了造成文化异同的原因并提出了正确处理文化异同的建议。

Abstract：
This article talks about the scenes happened in the film “The Wedding Banquet”, it gave us a brief introduction to the differences about the attitudes towards gays, the face culture, the wedding tradition and the family ethical relationship. And according to the analyses, the main cause of the differences is the different developing period of the western and the eastern. As China is a country with a history of over 5000 year’s feudalism and the Chinese people’s thoughts are more or less affected by the feudalism, it is no wonder even today that most of them are still too stale and too conservative in their attitudes towards gays. However, the western’s development is based on the handicraft and the seafaring, so people’s thoughts are relatively more civilized. At the end of the article, it gives us a conclusion and some suggestions about how to deal with the cultural differences.
