Abstract:
With the deepening of globalization, countries infiltrate and influence each other in the aspect of cultural level. Since the 1970s, hip hop culture in the United States, undergoing constant change and innovation, gradually formed a variety of forms, and has a huge influence throughout the world. This topic will mainly deal with the hip-hop culture and its impact on Chinese youth.
On the basis of predecessors' research, the paper gives a comprehensive analysis to the American hip-hop culture, and makes every effort to illustrate it clearly. The paper describes various hip-hop culture, such as DJ, MC, beatbox, graffiti, street basketball, breaking, as well as their development and influence on Chinese teenagers. The paper also analyzes their cultural meanings, thus enabling readers to be aware of their importance in promoting social progress.

摘 要：
随着全球化的不断加深，英语论文，各国在文化方面也在不断渗透和互相作用。美国的嘻哈文化自上世纪70年代产生以来，经历着不断的变化与创新，逐渐形成了多种形式，在世界范围内产生了巨大的作用。本课题将主要讨论美国嘻哈文化及其对中国青少年的作用。论文将在吸收前人探讨的基础上，对美国嘻哈文化进行全面略论，力求将其论述得清楚明白。论文将讨论美国嘻哈文化的多个种类，英语论文，如DJ、MC、beatbox、涂鸦、街头篮球、街舞等的产生、发展及其对中国青少年的作用，从而略论其在文化层面上的意义，使读者意识到其在推动社会进步方面的重要性。

1 Introduction
As we all know, hip hop is a popular and fashionable culture in modern world. People see it as a way of entertainment and also a platform to get to know American culture. But few people know what hip hop culture really is and most people take it as young people wearing big fat clothes and doing things that normal people don’t do. This comprehension is not wrong but only a part of hip hop culture. For better understanding of hip hop culture, this thesis is going to talk about what hip hop culture is and how it developed, as well as introduce some elements of hip hop culture, such as DJ, MC, beatbox, graffiti, street basketball, breaking and their generation and development. At the same time the thesis discusses their influence on Chinese Youth today and how it changes young people’s mind and lifestyle.
