Abstract
Chinese martial arts and western boxing, the two popular athletics sports in the world, have been widely welcome and appreciated by lots of people. However, as they belonging respectively to the eastern and western cultural systems, the two sports differ greatly from each other in many aspects. Beginning with a general introduction to the two sports events, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the difference between them from three aspects: the routine, the aims and function and the different extent of reflection in literary works from the perspective of culture. This paper also explores the cultural reasons for the difference between the two sports, which is intended to help promote the tradition Chinese martial arts.

摘 要
中国武术与西方拳击作为一项竞技体育项目,在世界范围内都普遍流行,受到了广泛欢迎。然而二者各自从属东西方文化体系下,英语毕业论文,存在诸多异同。本文从简要介绍这两项体育项目入手,英语论文网站,进一步从文化角度对比了中国武术与西方拳击在套路招式、功能目标以及文学著作中的体现程度等三个方面的具体异同,并就导致这些异同的文化因素作了详细略论。最终为中国武术的发展提供些许借鉴和参考。

1. Introduction
Chinese martial arts is our traditional sports event, which, in the long course of history, has developed by leaps and bounds and reflected our Chinese traditional unique beliefs. Nowadays, more and more people in the world begin to learn martial arts, showing the same or even more enthusiasm and interest than that in other sports, and various kinds of Martial Art Association have spread all over the world. It is our Chinese long cherished dream that one day Chinese martial arts could be an event of the Olympic Games. In 2017, Beijing held the Olympic Games that made our Olympic dream come true. However, Chinese martial arts failed to be accepted as one of the events of the Games. It is then our great concern to provide better conditions for Chinese martial arts to enter the Olympic family. Meanwhile, there are many aspects that we can learn from the western boxing, which is also a world’s popular sports event that was established as an event of the Olympic Games a long time ago. Chinese martial arts and western boxing are deeply ingrained respectively in the fertile soil of eastern culture and western culture, and both of them have their own long history and flourish development. Du to the fundamental differences between the two kinds of cultures, the two sports events have long been influenced throughout the process of their development, thus demonstrating features or uniqueness in many aspects, which is well worth paying close attention to and conducting careful research on. |
