摘 要
共享食物历来是人们在人际交往中最常见的用以表示友好的基本形式之一。宴会也就自然而然的成为一种接待宾客的礼节。为了联络感情，疏通人际联系，宴客习俗不只局限在普通老百姓生活中，随着日益发展的经济全球化，各种商业活动、国与国之间的交往日趋频繁,宴请活动的必要性和重要性更加突出。不同的国家有着不同的文化背景，相应的，也有着不同的习俗习惯，宴请也不例外。这使得越来越多的人需要深入了解中西方国家在宴请习俗上的异同，以便能够更好地进行交流沟通，顺利实现跨文化交际从而给生活和工作带来更大的便利。
本文主要重点介绍中西方宴请习俗的异同。时至今日，在国际交往中，宴请等应酬类活动绝不仅仅是请客吃饭这样简单，它对社会和整个人类发展进程有着不可磨灭的贡献，包含了重要的社会功能。随着西方文化的大量涌入和它对中国传统礼仪的不断冲击,通过略论中西方国家宴请形式及宴请习俗，着重对比宴会饮食、礼仪、形式观念等方面，英语毕业论文，力图寻其根源，使人们进一步了解中西方的宴客习俗，增强人们对此文化异同的认识，消除宴请过程中的一些矛盾与误解，英语论文网站，更好地促进中西方国家之间的交流。

Abstract
Sharing food is one of the commonest ways of social communication among every people to express their friendship. Banquet naturally becomes a kind of proper etiquette to entertain the guests. In order to make the contacts and enhance communication, banquet custom exists not only in social community but in our ordinary life. With the development of economic globalization, various of trade activities’ contacts become more and more frequent. The significance and necessity of banquet is prominent. Different country has different convention, also the banquet. This trend requires more and more people to learn and understand the difference between Chinese and western country in banquet culture, in order to enhance relations ,realize the Cross-culture communication, so as to bring convenience for work and the life.
The article will focus on introduce the differences between Chinese and western banquet cultures. Right until today, in the international contact, the occasions like banquet is not as simple as give someone a dinner, it has indelible contribution to the society and the development of the human race, it contained important social function. through analysis of different banquet forms and customs in China and western country, I will focus on comparing the aspects of banquet diet, etiquette, forms and concept, try hard to trace its source, make the people further comprehend the Chinese and western banquet cultures, strengthen the cognition of the cultural differences, eliminate the contradictions and misunderstanding in the process of banquet, make a better communication between China and Western country.
