Abstract and Key Words
Abstract: Color idioms are important component of language and culture in a society, the appropriate use of which is a mark of a language learner’s command of the language. This paper analyzes the influence factors，characteristics of English and Chinese idioms, the main causes for cultural differences in English and Chinese color idioms and explains the cultural differences on color idioms. Simultaneously, English learners should comprehend and utilize color idioms from different cultures precisely and accurately. This paper discusses the relationship between language and culture to reveal that the language in culture plays an important role and help to develop the language of culture. We can learn the cultural differences between English and Chinese through the study of color idioms.

摘要：颜色习语是一个社会的语言和文化的重要组成部分，恰当地使用颜色习语是一个语言学习者的语言要求。文章略论了作用英汉颜色习语的因素及特点以及英语和汉语颜色成语文化异同的主要原因，英语论文题目，英语毕业论文，并说明文化异同对颜色习语的作用。指出英语学习者应加强理解和应用来自不同文化的颜色习语的精确性和准确性。文章讨论了语言和文化的联系，揭示了语言在文化中发挥的重要影响，同时文化帮助发展了语言，他们之间有着紧密的关系。我们通过探讨习语中的颜色词汇可以看出英汉之间的文化异同。

1. Introduction
As globalization continues to strengthen, the links between different countries and nations have become increasingly frequent. However, language differences, cultural differences and other factors are always the important barriers for the different countries to make further exchanges with each other.
Color idiom in English is an important, peculiar, indispensable part of the language. The color words in the language, not only show the brilliant colors of nature, but also reflect the different cultural connotations. The use of color idioms can not only add to the color of the article, but also make the presentation easy to understand.
Color idiom is the color words together with other words or phrases, after a long period of use of the phrase derives from a fixed phrase. There is always difference between different languages in the use of basic color terms, which reflects the traditional habits of different nations and different cultures. Color words as a symbol system in English and Chinese languages have different uses and cultural values. Analysis of the cultural meaning of color terms can constantly promote and strengthen English and Chinese cultural exchange and integration between cross-cultural and verbal communication. |
