Abstract: Language is the most important communication strategy of human beings. However, the language styles men and women express are different due to their gender differences. This is genderlect difference. This paper analyzes the reflection of genderlect differences in daily conversations from the aspects of pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, syntactic structure, style of discourse, conversational strategies, and so on. This study also discusses the causes of genderlect differences, hoping to help the readers to recognize the genderlect differences so that they will be able to avoid the cross-sex miscommunication, hence improving the relationship between people in their communication.

摘要:语言是人类最重要的交际手段。然而,由于性别的异同,男女所表达的语言方式也是有区别的,这就是所谓的性别语言异同。本文研讨了性别语言异同在日常会话中的体现,英语论文网站,包括语音,语调,词汇,句式,话语风格,谈话策略及话题内容等方面,略论了性别语言异同的原因,英语论文范文,旨在使两性正确认识性别语言的异同,避免在跨性别交际中产生误解,使人与人之间的联系更趋和谐。

1.Introduction
Language is an important medium for people to communicate with others. It reflects the gender differences and the user’s identity and status even education degree and so on. In order to make people more harmonious, more and more scholars study the relationship between language and gender. It has become a hot topic. Tannen researches gender differences more deeply on conversation styles in 1990s.
Gender difference is hot in many fields, such as linguistics, sociology, education, as well as anthropology, etc. It has attracted great attention of many scholars home and abroad. Gender differences are become increasingly significant with the process of the society. If people are not familiar with the communication strategies and rules in the cross-gender communication, some unnecessary misunderstandings may arise.
In order to help the readers recognize the genderlect differences and avoid the cross-sex miscommunication, this paper will analyze the genderlect differences, and the reflection of differences in daily conversations in terms of pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, syntactical structure, style of discourse, conversational strategies, and content.
