Abstract：
Food is the most important necessity of life and development and one of the basic forms of social activity. However, there are different views and customs on food, and that affect and form different food cultures.
Chinese food culture has a long history, profound and deep influence made it famous to the whole world. After thousands of years’ development, Chinese food culture has become a bright star among the treasure of Chinese excellent culture heritage and world food culture. England, however, is a country that builds its colonies everywhere on the earth. Its local culture including food habit and structure, together with its army expedition and guard, spreads to the whole world. Now, colony phenomenon does not exist any longer, but English culture still influences the world deeply.
There are huge differences between Chinese and English culture including geographic characteristics and cultural background. The education that people accept and their thinking ways are different. The extent that people adapt to new things is also different. The paper is to get people know there are some differences between Chinese and English cuisine and helps to spread cultures.

摘 要：
饮食是人类生存与发展的第一需要，也是社会生活的基本形式之一。然而不同的文化背景，却有不同的饮食观念和饮食习俗，最终形成不同的饮食文化。
中国饮食文化历史悠久，博大精深，作用深远，风靡世界。它经历了几千年的历史发展，已成为中华民族的优秀文化遗产、世界饮食文化宝库中的一颗璀璨的明珠。而英国，英语论文，一个曾在世界各地建立殖民地的国家，它的本土文化包括饮食习惯和结构，英语毕业论文，随着殖民军队的征战和镇守，也传播到了世界各地。现在，虽然殖民现象已经不复存在，但是英国文化仍深深作用着世界各地。
中国和英国有着不同的地域特征和文化背景，居民所接受的教育和思维措施不一样，对外来事物的接受程度也不尽相同。这篇文章即是让人们知道，中英两国的饮食文化异同，并且起到传播文化的影响。

1. Introduction
Food has different degrees of separations in material, tastes, cooking ways and eating habits that depend on regional characteristics, environment and custom. With these separations, food has its own strong features. Between China and England, there is a difference of culture coming from different thinking ways and philosophy which cause the difference of food culture. This difference also influences national character. In China, a banquet has only one form--with people seated around and enjoying one table of food. The table must be round forming an atmosphere of unity, politeness and joyfulness.
