摘 要
《阿甘正传》是奥斯卡的获奖影片，其内容与美国文化和历史有着密切的联系，对该电影的探讨也在一定程度上帮助学习者了解美国的历史和文化。通过对电影的略论和解读，学习者可以进一步掌握语言与文化及历史之间联系的重要性，从而在语言学习过程中找到捷径。本论文将以电影《阿甘正传》的内容为背景，从阿甘语言的非比喻性，简单甚至错误的语言以及他语言的语用性出发，略论主人公阿甘的台词特征，从而让语言学习者得知语言是人类性格的反映。另一方面，让语言学习着知道文化和历史关于语言学习的重要性。

Abstract
Forrest Gump is an Oscar winner, and its content has much to do with America’s culture and history. A study of this movie can help to get a better knowledge of American culture and history. Through analyzing the movie, learners can know how important it is for language learners to study culture and history, and more importantly, it can supply a shortcut to language learners to learn a language. Based on the movie Forrest Gump, this paper will use language examples that have appeared, studying the hero’s non-metaphorical language, his simple and even mistaken words and the pragmatic features of his language, to make language learners know that the language is the reflection of character and also know the importance of culture and history for language learners.

1 Introduction of the Movie
It' is universally acknowledged that English is playing a more and more important role in the current world. There are many ways to learn English well, some may say the best way to learn English is to follow your teacher’s steps and try to be a good student who obeys all the instructions. Others may say the best way to learn English is to study abroad, personally, I agree, however, for those who are not rich enough, the best way to learn English is to create a language environment by themselves. In my opinion, watching English movies is a good way. Because of the originality of the movie, the language learners can have an almost concrete and real environment that provided by the movie.
