摘 要
电影反映人们的生活思想观念和价值观。美国梦是美国的核心价值观，其核心内容是——只要经过坚持不懈的努力就能获得更好的生活。美国梦之所以被称之为梦，更多的是因为人们被那种可能性所吸引与激励。在美国这个充满了机遇与挑战的国家，人们要想获得成功就需要坚持不懈的努力。<<阿甘正传>>是一部耐人寻味的影片。主人公阿甘在影片中被塑造成了美德的化身，英语毕业论文，单纯正直，诚实守信，英语论文网站，真挚执著。他代表了那个时代我们所知晓的美国精神。智商仅75的阿甘，几乎被所有人嘲笑为弱智的他，正是以他那独特的性格以及直觉的行动，在自己的人生道路上“跑”出了属于自己的一片天地。本文就阿甘的性格特征及其身上所拥有的美国精神作简单略论，应用调查资料，观看影片，阅读过往书籍以及学术刊载等途径，充分理解电影所表达的更深层次的意义，以更好的帮助我们了解美国的文化和社会。

Abstract
Forrest Gump is a movie which affords much food for reflection. Forrest was modeled to the incarnation for virtues. He is pure and upright, honest and trustworthy, sincere and inflexible. The story of Forrest Gump is typical American for that his growing process is just what the Americans experienced. And he makes the American people clearly looking back at the past history. He stands for the virtues we know of that time. With IQ of only 75, Forrest Gump was always laughed at by all people as stupid even though he gained the success of the road in his life with his unique personality and intuitive action. In this paper, a simple analysis of the Forrest Gump character that has the spirit of America, to help us have a better understand of the culture and society of United States. The study of this paper will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of American individualism so that we know more about American culture and know about its impact for the core values in American society.

Forrest Gump is a 1994 American comedy-drama film based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Winston Groom. The story of Forrest Gump is typical American for that his growing process is just what the American experiences. And he makes the American people clearly looking back at the past history. This paper talked mainly about the Americanism appeared on Forrest and also his personality. Forrest Gump is a movie which affords much food for reflection. With IQ of only 75, Forrest Gump was always laughed at by all peoples as stupid even though he gained the success of the road in his life with his unique personality and intuitive action. In this paper, a simple analysis of the Forrest Gump’s personality and the spirit of America he has, to help us understand the core of the American’s culture and society better. Freedom is one of the typical spirits of American while integrity, courage and diligence are also very important ones.
