1. Introduction
Arif Dirlik, American historian and sinologist, has put forward many important ideas in the reconstruction of global capitalism and Confucianism and other aspects. In his view, large-scale class struggles and mass revolutionary movements have basically ended in today's Chinese society. China has now entered into an era of globalization, or a post-revolutionary or post-socialist era, and the main trend of the era is dominated by the market economy. However, a direct result of globalization is that most people in the world have been marginalized, and this marginalization is reflected in both the politic and economy, but also in society and culture. If we examine the phenomenon of globalization on the base of cultural latitude, we can say this is a direct consequence of the cultural post-modernism. When Postmodernism enters into the soil the Chinese culture, it is inevitable to crash on the Chinese culture and then deformed. In such circumstances, Confucianism has gradually become a kind of dominant words power of Chinese civilization and culture, and it has been under re-construction in the context of post-modern era of globalization. It is an important resource for humanistic intellectuals to conduct equal dialogues with the West post-modern cultural theory. Therefore, on the one hand the traditional Confucian should be transformed, criticized, discarded and reconstructed in the post-modern and global perspective, to serve as an important theoretical resource to build a harmonious society; on the other hand, the various post-modern Western theory should be questioned, criticized and reformed from the perspective of a new era of globalized Confucianism, so that the reconstructed post-modern Neo-Confucianism will become an important aspect in the era of globalized coexistent pattern of multiple cultures.
