Abstract
The American heroism film is always popular among American people and it even plays a significant role in the global film market. This is not only due to the filming techniques, post production, actors and actresses, and the plots bringing audiences entertainment, but also because the heroism theme in films resonates with people’ feelings and the social environment.
Heroism film, as one type of culture, has various connections with the society and evolves with the continuous development of times. This thesis is going to study the interaction between the evolution of American heroism films and the development of American society from the aspect of sociology of film，from which, we can obtain a revelation that the interaction relation brings us.
This thesis contains five parts: the first part is a general introduction about American heroism films and the aims and significance of the thesis. And the second part is a brief overview of the basic theories of the sociology of film and the existing research findings of American heroism films. Then in the third part, the research tries to divide the development history of American heroism films into three periods, and discuss the evolution process of this type of film; the social background of each period is also analyzed. The fourth part studies the interaction between heroism theme and corresponding social background from both the positive and negative aspects. The last part concludes the major findings of this study, believing that the research on interaction between American heroism films and the society does great help to inspire us to view this relationship objectively, which will surely promote the progress of American heroism films.

摘 要
美国的英雄主义电影一直以来都受到美国人民的喜欢和追捧，甚至在世界电影市场中也占据着举足轻重的地位。这不仅是由于此类电影的拍摄手法、后期制作、男女演员和故事情节都能够给观众带来娱乐和震撼，更是因为电影中的英雄主义主题能够与观众的心理以及时代背景产生共鸣。
英雄主义电影作为文化的一种，与社会有着多方面的关系，并随着时代的不断发展而产生阶段性的演变。本文将从电影社会学的角度出发，探讨美国电影中英雄主义主题的演变进程及其与美国社会发展之间的双向互动联系，以及给人们带来的启示。
本文共分为五部分。首先关于美国的英雄主义电影进行总述，并提出本论文的探讨目的及意义, 第二部分则简要介绍了电影社会学的基本理论以及现有的关于美国英雄主义电影的探讨结果。第三部分将美国英雄主义电影的发展史划分为三大阶段，阐述其演变进程，并对每个阶段的时代背景进行了研讨。第四部分依据电影社会学理论，具体探讨了英雄主义主题与相对应的社会背景之间的相互作用，客观地略论了该作用的两面性，并据此引出更深层的思考。最后本论文认为探讨美国英雄主义电影的演变进程以及其与社会的相互作用能够帮助我们客观地看待美国电影中英雄主义主题与社会之间的联系，并促进美国英雄主义电影不断进步。
