随着中国与西方国家的经济文化交流日益频繁，越来越多的英文电影被引入中国市场。电影片名是观众对电影第一印象的直接决定因素。因此，片名翻译的重要性不言而喻。本文将首先略论电影类型及电影片名的命名方式，英语论文，接着根据交际翻译理论，介绍电影片名的四种基本功能，然后在功能对等理论的指导下，整理电影片名的常用翻译措施，并提出作者的一些见解。

Abstract：
The increasing communication between China and English-speaking countries brings about a great flow of English films introduced into Chinese film market. As a direct determinant of audiences’ primary impression, film title can contribute a lot to the charm of a film, thus the translation of film title is obviously worthy of attention. According to different translation theories and points, professional researchers have provided various ways of English film title translation.
In this article, the author would first give a simple introduction of the topic, analysing the film genres and naming approaches of film title, then introduce the functions of film title on the basis of Communication Theory. After that, the author would discuss several translation methods under the guidance of Functional Equivalence, and put forward some personal views.

1.Introduction
The birth of film indicates an important cultural turn. On one hand, as a vehicle of esthetic culture, film has a cultural responsibility to improve people’s esthetic ability and to complete esthetic education as well as to provide esthetic entertainment. And on the other hand, it artfully implants mercantile entertainments and techniques into itself, demonstrating its commercial feature.
The influence and power of film is considerable. throughout the world, China without an exception. Since China began to put the reform and opening-up policy into practice, which was from 1978, the history of film title translation has been more than thirty years. Without doubt, these past three decades have witnessed rapid development of the translation of English film titles. Some papers on film title translation were published, such as He Ying(2017), Zhang Yuou(2017), Wang Ling(2017). However, this area still needs further exploration and research.
