1 Introduction
This paper will focus on the discussion about English neologisms and their translation. With the rapid development of the society, including political, economic, cultural, scientific and technical development, great changes in language are taking place during the past twenty years. The emergence and fast development of English neologisms is one of those great changes. The reasons for its fast spread lie in several aspects, such as domestic or international circumstance, the tremendous social progress and the advance of language itself. As is known to all, vocabulary is the most active and sensitive element of language. Therefore, the social changes have led to continuous changes in vocabulary. This in turn results in the necessary studies of the English neologism and its translation.
