摘要
本文是在跨文化领域研讨中西方饮食文化的异同。从饮食和文化的联系入手,研讨中西方在饮食观念、烹饪的手法和菜单命名等异同,从而说明探讨中餐菜单的英译的必要性。在把握菜单翻译准则和标准的基础上,根据中餐菜单中写实性命名的菜单通过直译,复杂的菜单进行意译、音译、删减、借用等方式翻译,说明中餐菜单的博大精深和中国文化的丰富内涵。本项探讨将以中西方文化异同和中餐菜单中的典型菜名为探讨对象,重点探讨如何准确翻译中国菜单。就意义而言,英语论文题目,一份易懂又吸引人的菜单是外国人理解中餐、爱好中餐的第一步,有利于中华饮食文化的传播和交流。

Abstract
This thesis explores the differences between Chinese and Western dietary in the field of cross-cultural. The different culture backgrounds create the different relationships between diet and culture. Then the text further draws the big difference on dietary concept, cooking methods and menu naming. The menu translation should pay attention to the principle of avoiding cultural conflict and keeping honest. We can translate the Chinese menu with some methods, which is based on the standard of translation. The simple menu can be translated by the literal translation, and the complex menu can be translated in free translation, interpretation, abridged translation, borrowing translation and transliteration. In terms of meaning, a good menu plays a significant role in promoting the communication of culture in the world.

1. Introduction
Intercultural communication is an indispensable and necessary part of people's life. People come from different cultural backgrounds have different minds. When they get together, the obstacles will come across. To overcome these communication barriers in time is the key to the success of cross-cultural communication.
The dietary culture is an important part of the national cultures. Bian Haoyuand Gao Yongchen say that the food is an essential prerequisite for the existence and development of mankind, remains a close relation with culture.In addition, Xie Xianze,Pan Yanqiang and Du Li prove the ideas that the translation of Chinese dish has a particular role to play in promoting Chinese culture. In the other hand, Lin Lirui,英语论文题目,Xiong Liyou and Huang Fang are all the researchers in this issue. According to their common views, there are many differences between Chinese and Western dietary culture, like dietary concept, cooking methods, diet manner, tableware and so on. The Chinese food dietary culture has a long history and rich content, and the Western focuses more on diet manner and tableware. So how to translate the Chinese menu into English has a significant meaning.
