Abstract:
Nowadays, the smart phone has been widely used by more and more people due to the development of information technology and the improvement of people’s living standard. People can use it to call someone, send messages, surf on the Internet, listen to music, and play games and so on. The smart phone has become the fifth media after newspapers, radio, television, network as an indispensable part of our daily life. As the smart phone is becoming more and more popular, college students are learning to rely on them more and more. From the research we can see that the smart phone not only can improve students’ study, especially bring great opportunities in English learning, but also bring new challenges. This paper mainly analyzes the usage of the smart phone for college students, lists advantages and disadvantages of the smart phone, puts forward reasonable and effective suggestions to college authority, college teachers and students. So college students can make full advantages of the smart phone and make it serve students to learn English better.

如今，由于信息技术的发展和人们生活水平的提高，英语论文题目，英语毕业论文，智能手机已经被越来越多的的人广泛使用。人们可以用手机打电话，发短信，上网，听音乐和玩游戏等等。智能手机已经成为继报纸、广播、电视和网络后的第五大媒体，成为人们生活中必不可少的一部分。正如智能手机变得越来越流行，高校大学生也变得越来越依赖他们了。通过调查我们发现，智能手机不仅在提高学生成绩，尤其是帮助学生学习英语方面带来了巨大的机遇，而且也带来了新的挑战。本文主要略论了高校大学生对智能手机的使用情况，列举智能手机对大学生学习尤其是英语学习的好处与弊端，并且对高校，高校教师，大学生提出合理有效的建议，从而使大学生可以最大限度的发挥智能手机对英语学习的积极作用，使之更好地服务于大学生英语学习。

1. Introduction
1.1 Background
Nowadays, the smart phone has been widely used by more and more people due to the development of information technology and the improvement of people’s living standard. People can use it to call someone, send messages, surf on the Internet, listen to music, and play games and so on. According to the newest date, global the smart phone users will exceed 2 billion to the 2017. In 2017, the smart phone users will reach 1.91 billion and this will increase by 12.6% and reach to 2.16 billion in 2017. The smart phone has become the fifth media after newspapers, radio, television, network as an indispensable part of our daily life. The report shows that 99% of people use the smart phone to call others, which is no doubt that this is the most basic function of smart phone. Taking photos has exceeded sending messages, which is about 80%. There are 70% of people surfing on the Internet. People use the smart phone instead of pad or kindle when they are shopping, dating, gathering or taking bus. More than half the people like using the smart phone on bed, even 28% of people using the smart phone while taking a bath and 23% of people using them while having a meeting. 34% of people download or watch movies from the Internet, 45% of people listen to music and 50% of people play games with the smart phone.
