学习动机对初中学生学业成败至关重要。它是直接推动学生学习的内部动因,是制约学习行为和学习质量的关键因素。在英语学习的过程中,拥有强烈学习动机的学生通常可以体会到学习的成就感和成功的喜悦,取得较好的语言学习效果;而缺失学习动机的学生渐渐会失去对英语的兴趣,导致语言能力得不到充分的培养,学习水平低下。本篇文章主要阐述了动机的定义和分类,英语毕业论文,略论了动机对初中学生英语学习的作用,英语论文题目,从而进一步提出培养初中学生英语学习动机的策略

Abstract:

Learning motivation is one of the most important factors in students' English learning in junior middle school. It is an internal factor to promote students’English learning;it is a key point to restrict learning behaviour and learning quality.In the process of English learning, students with a strong motivation will gain a sense of achievement and success, while students without motivation are lacking interest in English learning. Learning motivation plays such an important role in English teaching.Teachers should pay more attention to cultivating students’ motivation in order to develop the ability of students’ learning English and improve the competence of students in English language. But many teachers know little about how to cultivate junior students' learning motivation. Therefore, the article, summarizing the concepts, categories and influence of the motivation, puts forward measures to cultivate the English learning motivation.

1.Introduction
  Motivation is a psychological orientation that people get the itch for knowledge and get to understand the world. It stimulates student to take part in the activities and maintain this state and bring toward a special goal. Learning motivation is a crucial aspect in foreign language learning. As early as 1970s, researchers have found that motivation is very strongly related to achievement in language learning.
  In English teaching, we often notice such a fact that at the very beginning a great number of people are actively involved in learning a foreign language, but as times goes on, their enthusiasm is diminishing and the number of the learners is decreasing. Even learners begin to detest learning foreign language and lose their interest in it. This kind of phenomenon is a common case. It is a difficult task for teacher to change this fact. It is believed that the key to improve is to create and foster the students’ interest in language learning and to maintain their motivation.
  During teaching, we also find that many learners have succeeded in language learning, without much contact with native speakers or without any experience abroad. Why can they learn it so well? As for this kind of question, it is necessary for us to make preliminary research into motivation in language learning in the following.
