Abstract:
This study concerns with non-English major students,to research and analyze the main English learning motivations of them and their preference of the motivations as well as taking their English level into account to explore the linkage between motivations and their English level. The research uses the English Learning Motivation questionnaire of Gao Yihong. This study is intended to know the English learning motivation of non-English majors. It will also have decisive importance on studying foreign language teaching and related applied linguistic.

本探讨以大学非英语系学生为调查对象,英语论文范文,调查略论非英语系学生英语学习的主要动机和动机偏向类型,并结合调查对象的英语水平研讨动机因素与其英语水平之间的关系,旨在了解非英语系学生英语学习动机,对探讨外语教学及相关运用语言探讨也具有一定的积极意义。

1. Introduction
Motivation is the subjective factor to stimulate individuals’ action and a psychological disposition to launch and maintain the action. (Zhang Rixin, 2017)Motivation is the power to spur individuals’ action based on personal needs. In English learning process, the motivation plays as one of the important factors and the critical elements affecting the success or failure of English learning.
Because of China’s frequent connection with the international world, English, as an international communication tool, is learnt by more and more Chinese. In order to increase the competitive power of students, most universities set English lessons for non-English major students. But the learning effects are rather mixed bunch. A growing number of researches aiming at analysis non-English majors’ students English learning motivations have sprung up. The findings are of major importance and meaningful to many English learners. However, still more questions need to be deeply discussed.
The author makes researches among 150 non-English majors, and analyses the findings,英语毕业论文, hoping to make some constructive suggestions for non- English majors and improve the teaching effects of them.
