Abstract
This paper, guided by task-based language teaching, is to make a research on how to design appropriate “tasks” in elementary English teaching to increase their study positivity, and to achieve teaching aims in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
The study indicates that pupils aged eight to ten are curious, active, emulative and playing-oriented. Due to these psychological features, related teaching tasks have been designed in a pleasant form, such as games. However, task-based instruction also has some problems in real teaching. This paper is also to put forward some solutions on students’ grammatical errors or Chinglish by pointing out some mistakes directly, or leaving as much time as possible for pupils to practice important drills repeatedly in games or some other interesting forms.

摘 要
本文以任务型教学法为指导,研讨在小学英语教学中如何使用合适的“任务”鼓励学生学习,增强他们的学习积极性,并在轻松愉悦的氛围中完成教学任务,实现教学目标。
文章认为八至十岁的小学生有好奇、好动、好胜、好玩的心理特征,出于这些心理特征,我们需要设计相应的教学任务来引起他们的好奇心,英语论文,增强他们的学习积极性。但任务型教学法在实施过程中也存在一些困难,如学生语法错误过多,在有限的课堂时间内学生无法完全完成任务等。对此我们提出了相关的解决方案。教师可以通过提醒或直接指出来纠正学生的个别语法错误,但要尽可能多地留出课堂时间让学生在课堂上以游戏等形式操练相关句型,英语论文范文,让他们能牢记相关的语法。

1 Introduction to Task-based Language Teaching
Nowadays English has become increasingly important in many aspects, ranging from doing international business trade or communication with foreigners to watching English movies as an entertainment. People, no matter what age they are in, pay more attention to English learning. Task-based instruction is applied to primary school students who have had some basic English knowledge to communicate with each other and those pupils who have had the same abilities to finish tasks by themselves.
