摘 要
1983年, 哈佛大学的心理学家加德纳教授通过多年的探讨,出版了《智能的结构》一书,创建了“多元智能理论”。该理论问世以来,对美国教育改革的理论和实践产生了广泛的积极作用,成为目前美国教育改革的重要理论之一,也与我国《基础教育改革纲要(试行)》以及新课程改革基本理念有着许多异曲同工之处。在中学英语教学中应用多元智能理论,能使中学英语教学真正朝着素质教育的方向发展,符合新课程改革的核心思想:面向全体学生,英语毕业论文,为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础。本探讨以多元智能理论作为基本的理论基础,应用理论关系实际的探讨措施,结合作者一些英语教学的实践经验,从中学英语教学与多元智能理论的联系、多元智能理论在中学教学设计中的运用、多元智能理论在中学课堂教学中的运用、多元智能理论在对中学生英语学习评价中的运用等几个主要方面进行比较深入的研讨,英语论文范文,为我国教育工作者借鉴、理解和应用多元智能理论提供了参考。

Abstract
In 1983, after many years of hardworking, Howard Gardner, a famous Professor of Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education USA, published his ground-breaking “Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences”. The application of the theory of Multiple Intelligences in the Middle Schools English Teaching can result in a correct development tendency of the “Education for all-round development” movement, which matches the core idea of reform that education should face the overall students, and set a solid foundation for them to develop their life long learning and developing skill. The fundamental theory in this paper is based on Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. It inquiries deeply into many aspects such as the relationship between TEFL in middle schools and the Theory of Multiple Intelligences(TMI), the application of the TMI in the teaching plan, the application of the TMI in the English classroom, the application of the TMI in the assessment of the English teaching in Middle Schools, together with some teaching experience in the practice of middle school teaching. These projects could be a very useful source of reference for the teachers to take advantage of Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences.

1 Introduction
This paper presents Multiple Intelligences in the junior high school English education. By systematic review of all the literature, I analyze from the Theory of Multiple Intelligences on intelligence view, students’ view, teachers’ view, teaching view and evaluation . I will present my point of view that is not mentioned but necessary in the literature review at the end of the thesis.
