摘 要
众所周知,俚语是每一门语言中不可或缺的一部分,而在英语中,这一特点尤为突出。而随着时间的发展,俚语的重要性会越加明显,因为其简洁明了幽默生动的特点。外国友人在实际生活中会大量使用关于他们习以为常的俚语,但是关于外语学习者来说,这些单词短语便显的过分生僻,难以理解。然而目前东方国家,特别是中国,在英语语言学习上过分重视语法以及应试教育,而忽视了英语的实际运用,造成了与外国友人的交流障碍,甚至产生不必要的误会。因此,学习俚语在英语学习中必将成为非常重要的一部分。本文会详细介绍俚语的起源以及发展,英语论文,理性的看待俚语的优缺点,并且略论英语学习者学习俚语的必要性,帮助学习者了解语言的内在涵义。从而在跨文化交流中为学习者提供一定的帮助。

Abstract
It is known to all that slang serves as a very important role in each language, especially in English. With the development of slang, the importance of slang becomes more obvious because of its characteristics of concise, humorous and fashionable. Foreigners use a lot of slang in their daily life which can be found through television, movies and newspapers. But these words and expressions are very difficult for learners to understand although they have already known the literal meanings. In this current environment of English learning, Eastern countries, especially China, are still paying more attention on grammar and passing exams rather than the practical application. Sometimes it may cause misunderstandings in communication with foreigners. After a long time of learning, learners will find it is still difficult to understand what the foreigners are talking about. So, we must realize that learning slang is becoming a very important part of English learning. This paper will introduce the origin of slang and how does slang develop. Meanwhile I will introduce the advantages and restriction of slang using reasonably and then analyze the necessity of learning English slangs which might be helpful in intercultural communication.

1 Introduction
With the boom of China, lots people get interested in things outside China, and Chinese government has to keep in touch with the outside world. So many people start to learn foreign languages especially English, because it is a world language that can help them to communicate with foreigners almost all around the world. Some students even start learning English from kindergarten. So it usually has been more than 10 years for students to know about this language. Slang, as a special language, has its own characteristics. We could not treat it with full reputation.
