摘 要
中国传统英语教学是以语言知识教学作为主线贯穿整个英语作为外语的教学,却忽略了跨文化意识的培养,或者说是语言技巧和交际能力培养的缺乏。另外,在实现教学目标的过程中,并没有把学生作为主体。本文主要通过跨文化意识对教学目标、教学措施、师生联系和现代化教学设施应用的影响以及其培养的意义、内容、形式和途径的讨论,并且关于跨文化交际能力框架的构建提出自己的见解,从而略论跨文化意识在初中英语教学的影响及培养。主要采用例证法,比较法,归纳法和引证法,英语论文网站,英语论文,从而认识到在多元文化背景下的英语教学发展趋势是自主化、多样化、整合化和现代化。因此在英语教学中接触和了解英语国家文化更益于对英语语言的使用。

Abstract
The Chinese traditional English teaching regards the language knowledge teaching as the most important aspect came through the overall EFL(English as a foreign language)teaching. However, it neglects the cultivation of intercultural awareness; also we can call it as the lack of the cultivation of language skills and communicative competence. Additionally, it fails to put the students in the first place during setting a teaching goal. This paper aims to analyze the effects and cultivation of students’ intercultural awareness in English teaching at middle school through discussing the effects of intercultural awareness on the teaching goal, teaching method, the relationships between teachers and students and the utilization of modern teaching facilities, also importance, content, forms and approaches of cultivation. Apart from that, some opinions are given for the establishment of intercultural communicative competence mode. It mainly adopts documental method, comparative method, inductive method and citing method so that we can find that English teaching under the multicultural background will contain a trend of self-dependence, diversification, integration and modernization. Therefore, through touching and understanding the culture and the customs in the major English countries during the process of English learning, it can benefit to utilize the very English itself better.

1 Introduction
This paper aims to analyze the effects and cultivation of students’ intercultural awareness in English teaching at middle school through discussing the effects of intercultural awareness on the teaching goal, teaching method, the relationships between teachers and students and the utilization of modern teaching facilities, also importance, content, forms and approaches of cultivation. Apart from that, some opinions are given for the establishment of intercultural communicative competence mode. In my opinion, the intercultural awareness is a realization of foreign culture like history, geography, customs, literature, thinking style and so on.
