Abstract: Integration with modern telecommunication technologies has become a distinctive feature of EFL teaching in the new century. The application of AWE in teaching English writing is a new attempt, which is a computerized system to evaluate students’ English composition and is a rating system on the basis of the conclusion of many evaluated English composition by human. The paper aims to analyze the difficulties when we utilize the system in the process of writing and application, and then come up with the corresponding measures for the English writing teaching to provide new ideas. At the same time, I hope this paper will help the teachers and students discover, analyze and solve the difficulties in English writing. On the one hand, AWE will lead teachers to grasp the learning needs of students on the basis of the timely analysis of AWE report, and dynamically adjust teaching plan. On the other hand, AWE will help the students to utilize AWE dynamic evaluation writing results to improve the students’ independent writing ability.

摘 要：整合以计算机和互联网为代表的现代信息技术正成为语言教学现代化的标志和趋势，在英语写作教学中应用写作自动评分工具就是一种全新的英语写作教学模式的尝试，是用来评估学生英语作文写作的计算机化的技术系统，它是在总结人工评判过的多篇英文作文的基础上而建立的计算机化评分系统。论文旨在通过略论写作自动评分工具在英语写作运用的过程中遇到的困难，进而想出相应的对策，英语毕业论文，为英语写作教学提供新思路。同时，希望本论文有助于师生发现、略论和解决英语写作中遇到的困难：一方面，英语论文题目，引导教师在写作自动评分略论报告的基础上及时把握学生的学习需求，动态调整教学方案；另一方面，帮助学生利用写作自动评分工具动态评估写作成果，提高自主写作能力。

Automated writing evaluation (AWE), is not a new technology and has been developed and adopted in writing classes. Teachers can create assignments for students, give feedback, review students’ performance, and archive students’ data including written prose, holistic scores and feedback, and statistical performance information. However, it hasn’t been developed till the 1960s. For better improving students’ English Writing, there has been a constant development of theories and teaching practices in English writing education.
The demand for AWE intensifies with our increasing dependence on global information systems. Although there has long been widespread agreement on the need for development of writing (see, for example, National Commission on Writing, 2017, p. 3).
