Abstract
Wuthering Heights is a novel with the theme of revenge written by Emily Bronte. Heathcliff is the hero of the novel, who is described as a typical Satanic Hero in this paper. Because of the twisted vengeance in his character, he was known as the devil by people. He not only made his enemy bankrupt, but also took a variety of revenges on their children. His heart was full of hatred and he experienced all kinds of hardships. Finally he failed to stay with his beloved one. The terrible fate shows the process how this Satanic Hero comes into beings. This paper compares Heathcliff with Satan in Paradise Lost to find the similarities and differences between this Satanic Hero and Satan. It is based on the deep reading of the novel and the analysis on Heathcliff as the Satanic Hero, which makes people deeply understand the background and definition of Satanic Hero. It also shows its influence on time, human, and literature, as well.

小说家艾米莉•勃朗特的《呼啸山庄》是一部以复仇为主题的小说。希斯克利夫正是其小说的主人公，也是本文所描述的撒旦式英雄的模板。他因其为复仇所扭曲的性格，被人们称为魔鬼。他的复仇不但使他的敌人破产，更对其子女试行各种报复。他的内心是充满仇恨的，经历了种种磨难，并未能和自己心爱的人在一起，坎坷的命运，都表现了其能够成为撒旦式英雄的过程。本文通过希斯克利夫这一形象与撒旦原型进行对比，得出其相同与不同。在细读小说的基础上，对希斯克利夫这一撒旦式英雄进行解析，从而深入地了解撒旦式英雄的形成背景，英语论文范文，定义，探讨他对时代，英语论文，对人类，对文学的作用及意义。
