Abstract
The Bluest Eye is the first novel of Tony Morrison, the first black woman who was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature. It has attracted a great number of readers ever since its publication. Foreign researches on this novel mainly focus on the aspects such as the standard of beauty, identity, racism, structure and narrative strategies, and so on. In recent years, ecological problems have drawn increasing attention from all fields in society. Together with nature, blacks and women, the disadvantaged sex has become the center of the research. This thesis is grounded on the analysis of The Blues Eye from the perspective of eco-feminism theory. It focuses on the study of the relations between nature and the females so that readers can sympathize with the disadvantaged and people improve their awareness of the equal rights of women from the perspective of the eco-feminism theory.
Structurally, this thesis first introduces the background information of the novel and of its writer. Then, it introduces the theoretical core of eco-feminism theory. Thirdly, it expresses the close relations between nature and the female from the analysis of two types of symbolic images which are based on the relationship of the nature and females. Finally, it explains the goal of the eco-feminism theory which is to arouse people’s concern for the roles of nature and females so that nature and humans, and both sexes can co-exist happily and consequently, a harmonious society can be built.

摘 要
《最蓝的眼睛》是首位获得诺贝尔文学奖的黑人女作家托妮•莫里森的第一部著作,自出版以来就吸引了大量的读者。国外对该小说的探讨主要集中在审美标准、身份认同、种族主义以及叙事结构和策略等方面。然而,近年来,随着生态环境问题越来越受关注,英语论文网站,同大自然一样属于弱势群体的黑人,特别是黑人女性也成为学术探讨关注的焦点。本论文从生态女性主义角度出发解读《最蓝的眼睛》,着力于探讨自然与女性的关联,英语论文,从而引导读者对弱势群体的处境进行反思,以促发人们从女性生态主义视野重新定位人与自然的联系。
结构上,本论文第一章首先介绍了小说及其作者的相关信息。第二章则介绍和深入阐述了生态女性主义的理论核心。第三章从自然和女性的角度略论了小说中各类意象的特征,从而论证了自然和女性之间密不可分的联系。最后,本文第四章在总结前文观点的基础上指出,生态女性主义理论的目的及意义——即唤起全人类对自然和女性的关注,通过呼吁自然和人类幸福共存,以实现人与自然、男性与女性间的和谐共存。
