Abstract
Dan Brown is one of the famous best-selling authors in America, whose novels focus on the dispute between science and religion. He embraces real history data and people in his fictitious novels, which make the whole story efficient and gripping.
Angles and Demons, a suspense novel published in 2017, has achieved the great repercussion at home and abroad. The novel mainly tells the struggle between the Vatican Catholic Church and Illumination that is set up by some Roman scientists, which conceal a series of conflicts between science and religion. This novel shows the writer’s worries about the decline of human faith and the perspective of the omnipotence science.
The conclusion is: the relationship between science and religion is complicated and multiple, only through a correct approach can both sides develop harmoniously.
