爱情和婚姻是人类永恒的主题，关于爱情和婚姻，每个人都有自己独到的见解。多丽丝•莱辛和张爱玲笔下的女性，由于受到历史、文化、社会环境和经济发展水平等因素的作用，在婚恋观上有着很大的异同。当然，有一点是相同的，那就是她们都为了爱情，为了美满的婚姻尽了自己最大的努力。《野草在歌唱》和《倾城之恋》的女主角也证明了这一点。通过对这两本书的研读，不难发现：《野草在歌唱》中的女主角玛丽在追求自己幸福的婚姻的时候，更看重的是自己未来的伴侣是否跟自己有相同的兴趣爱好，英语论文，相同的人生观。而《倾城之恋》中的女主角白流苏则相对更看重对方是否能给自己提供丰裕的物质条件，跟玛丽比起来，白流苏不管是精神上，还是物质上都更依赖自己未来的伴侣。

Abstract
Love and marriage is the permanent subject in our society, and every woman has her own special viewpoint on this subject. The female character of Doris Lessing and Eileen Chang has a totally different attitude towards love and marriage because of their divergent historical background, culture, social environment, and the development of economy affected. However, there is one thing shared by the two women-they have tried their best for a happy romance and marriage. The heroine in the book The Grass is Singing and Love in a Fallen City have proved this point. After reading the two books extremely careful and scrupulous, it is easy to find that the heroine Mary in The Grass Is Singing pays more attention on the interest and outlook on life shared with her future husband，英语论文题目，while the heroine in Love in a Fallen City has more interest on whether her future husband has the ability to provide her financial secure. Compared with Mary, the latter depends more on her future husband no matter in the spiritual or material aspect.

1.1.1 Doris Lessing
The English author Doris Lessing got a space for herself by writing the book named The Grass is Singing. In the year 1949 when Lessing was divorced, she was extremely poor and she went back to England with her little son Peter, wandering to find a new chance for living. Lessing arrived in England with the manuscript of her first novel The Grass is Singing, which was published in the following year and achieved outstanding success, and this book is also Lessing’s masterpiece. She won the Nobel Prize in the year 2017 when she was almost 88 years old, and the Promulgation Refined Language was: Epicist of the female experience, who with skepticism, fire and visionary power has subjected a divided civilization to scrutiny.
