Abstract
Pride and Prejudice is a very famous book which was written by Jane Austen. In the book, Jane Austen expressed her view that women should be equal to men by creating a brave and clever girl, Elizabeth, who firmly pursued a marriage based on true love. By telling her story, it can be seen that women of that time already had the feminism consciousness in their mind. And the article will try to prove the feminism consciousness in the novel by introducing the book, the writer, and social background of that time and also introducing the concept of feminism to let readers have a brief understanding of the book. Then the study will try to analyze the characteristics of the heroine Elizabeth and also to compare the four marriages in the novel to make the conclusion that Elizabeth did have feminism consciousness inside her, that she was intelligent, independent, brave and firm to live a life with someone that she really loved, which was obviously different from the most of the women of that time and her feminism consciousness was also strengthened when the article compared her with her sisters and best friend.

摘 要
《傲慢与偏见》由女作家简•奥斯丁所写，流传至今。在书中，简•奥斯丁通过塑造一个勇敢、聪明的女孩——伊丽莎白——勇敢地追求拥有真爱的婚姻的故事，表达了她认为男女应该平等的观点。通过伊丽莎白的故事，我们可以看到当时的女性已经有了女性意识的萌芽。本文通过介绍《傲慢与偏见》这本书，介绍该书的作者简•奥斯丁，介绍当时的社会背景以及女性意识的概念让读者对该书有个大致了解，进而略论证明该书中的女主角伊丽莎白是当时具有女性意识萌芽的女性代表。本论文通过略论女主角伊丽莎白的性格特点以及比较伊丽莎白与书中其他女性角色的婚姻来得出伊丽莎白的确是有着女性意识萌芽的结论：伊丽莎白很机智、很有天赋，独立、勇敢并且坚定地追求她自己的所爱，而她的这些所有特点是当时绝大部分的女性所没有的。同时，英语论文网站，通过与书中她的姐妹和挚友的对比，英语论文题目，本论文突出了她身上的女性意识的觉醒。

1 Introduction
Pride and Prejudice, written By Jane Austen, was a representative novel in the 19th century during the period when feminism had its flourishing time. As a leading novelist of that time, Jane Austen created a clever and independent heroine, Elizabeth, expressing her view that women were as good as men and they should be treated equally. The purpose of the study is to do some analysis on the feminism consciousness in the novel Pride and Prejudice.
As for the meaning of doing such kind of research is to have a better understanding of feminism in Victorian age and the whole development of feminism. We can also have a better understanding of the contexts as well as the characters in the novel more deeply.
