摘 要
《鲁滨逊漂流记》是英国作家丹尼尔•笛福的第一部著作。该著作一经出版就取得了巨大成功。它对英国以及欧洲写作风格产生了非常深刻的作用。长期以来探讨者们一直致力于此探讨并取得了丰硕的成果。然而,他们忽略了鲁滨逊性格对其生活经历的现实意义的作用。本论文主要结合小说主要人物鲁滨逊所处社会背景、生平事迹以及18世纪英国现实主义价值观对小说《鲁滨逊漂流记》中主要人物鲁滨逊的性格进行略论,英语论文范文,并阐述鲁宾逊性格对其人生经历与孤岛生存的作用,英语论文范文,引申略论这种积极性格对现实的意义,并对以积极心态迎接挑战、直面人生提出建议。

Abstract
Robinson Crusoe was the first novel of Daniel Defoe, a British writer, which made a great success when first published. The novel makes a profound effect on the British and European writing styles. Researchers have been keen on it for long and produced rich fruit. However, they neglect the realistic significances that Robinson’s character brought to his life. The paper is an analysis of the hero’s character in Robinson Crusoe, which is mainly connected with the social backgrounds, the events that Robinson experienced, the hero of this novel and the British realistic values in18th Century. This paper states the influences of Robinson’s character to his life experience and the island survival. Furthermore, it extends to an analysis of positive character’s sense of reality. At last, this paper puts forward the proposal of how to hold positive attitudes towards life and difficulties.

1 Introduction
Among all the novels written by Daniel Defoe, Robinson Crusoe is his most famous masterpiece. The artistic charm of the work achieved the enduring acclaim in the world of literature and art, and has exuded gleaming light. In Robinson Crusoe, Daniel Defoe sculpted a typical artistic image, what Robinson has done revealed the mental outlook of the emerging bourgeoisie in the period of the primitive accumulation of capital. By taking a dip into the novel, people also feel that Robinson’s character determines his fate. He was also happy out of his character. Although his life was linked to adventurousness, perseverance, and other personalities, these factors were also achievements of Robinson’s life.
1.1 The background of this paper
Robinson came from the middle class and in his youth he set out a desire for sea excursion. In spite of his parents’ discouragement, he started his adventure career under his family’s eyes. In his first voyage, he encountered a terrible storm. In fear, he vowed that he would come home and have a good life with his parents as long as he lived through the danger, but after the danger passed, he forgot his oath and began his next adventurous voyage. |
