1.1 Research Background
As everyone knows, a problem is the starting point and the main line of the teaching, andteaching. In English reading teaching, we should focus on the knowledge into exploratoryproblem, and through the question and the question of knowledge point, to stimulate learners'active reading, active thinking, thus gradually cultivate a spirit of inquiry and analysis of thetext, the students of the inductive and deductive ability. In short, the problems of unreasonable designcan not only stimulate students' innovative thinking, but inhibit the students of the brain,allowing them to the teaching of reading interest lost, even for the English subject propertysick of learning emotion."High school English Curriculum Standard (Experiment)" promulgated to promote theresearch and the implementation of the new curriculum reform, but the reform is not justbecause of the teaching mode of teaching method is different from the traditional, but alsobecause with the new curriculum reform brings education and traditional education idea isdifferent in essence.

1.2 Significance and Objective of the Study
The present study aims to find out the influences of Problem-Based Instruction onstudents’ English reading ability. The significance and objective of the study exist in thefollowing aspects. Firstly, English reading is a major course in English teaching, in order tocomplete the text content analysis, language learning, improve the comprehensive Englishability, enhance the emotional value of three-dimensional target, teachers must focus on thetext design the corresponding problems. Design problems of reading course must give fullconsideration to the learning task, teaching subject and teaching content and so on a numberof factors. Scientific and rational design of the problem is promoting teacher-student dialogueand co-operation on the English reading material platform, open the student wisdom door key,help to promote the implementation of interactive learning, help students exploreconsciousness, help students thinking ability.Secondly, "Ordinary high school English Curriculum Standards (experimental) has beenimplemented, researchers focus on the classroom teaching behavior.
