During this process, the learner's cognitive style, discourse context provided and the learner's reading patterns have become significant research objects of foreign language teaching. Reading is an important part of the fundamental Arabic teaching and learning, if teachers can take cognitive theory as a guide to develop effective training strategies to help learners, they might be able to do better to overcome the difficulties in reading process, such as limited vocabulary, misunderstanding or speed limit, therefore the learners can acquire the necessary reading skills such as intensive reading, skimming, rapid reading, targeted reading and so on. |
