摘  要:学术英语听力泛指英语非本族语者在高等教育专业学术场景中进行的任何以英语为媒介的听力活动。经调查,作用泰国高校云贵少数民族探讨生学术英语听力的因素主要有:学习者因素,教师因素和文化背景因素。学生较多使用认知策略来提高听力效果。此外,学生学术英语听力的自我效能感处于中等水平。本探讨结果对民族地区学术用途英语(EAP)教学具有重要的启示意义。Academic listening refers to EFL students' listening activities in academic settings in tertiary education. The present study investigates factors affecting Yunnan-Guizhou ethnic minority graduate students' academic listening in Thai universities,their coping strategies and self-efficacy. The results indicate that learner factors,culture and background factors and teacher factors all exert influence on students' academic listening. Students in the present study tend to use more cognitive strategies to better their listening outcomes than social-affective, meta-cognitive and memory strategies. Besides,students' self-efficacy in academic listening is in the medium level. The findings are of paramount importance to the instruction of EAP courses in universities in ethnic minority areas.
