摘要:
本论文对近十年来,中国角色在美剧的改变进行略论,包括角色地位和影响的改变,从十年前的龙套,到如今美剧中已变成了能推动剧情发展主要配角,甚至是主角;从曾经的偷渡客到现在的权贵;从当初的仆人、服务生,到现在的电脑天才。同时本文也指出了这种改变的深层原因,英语论文题目,尽管这种改变与中国自身的日益强盛有着紧密的关系,但改变的主要原因还在于美国的自身需要,所以中国观众不能盲目乐观,而应该对这种潮流背后的文化入侵保持警醒。而广电总局也应做出相应的对策,改变这种单向的文化交流,提高中国文化的国际作用力,英语论文题目,争取更多的国际话语权。

Abstract:
This paper analyzes the changes of Chinese roles in American dramas in the past ten years, from roles design to the function they have; from extras in ten years ago to today’s main supporting roles, and even to the leading roles; from the stowaways to the ruling aristocrats; from servants, waiters to geeks. At the same time, the paper points out the underlying causes of the changes. Though the changes have tight contact with the development of China, the most important reason is American needs the changes. The Chinese audience should keep warning the public against cultural invasion instead of blind optimism. The administration also should put forward some relative countermeasures to change the one-sided transmission, to improve Chinese culture’s international influence, to get more international discourse power.

1. Introduction
The first American drama Man from Atlantis was introduced in the 1980s. Since then, the American dramas had won many fans in China by its novel themes, distinctive styles, and vivid characters. In the recent years, it had become fashionable to watch American dramas among Chinese audience. With the wide spread of American dramas in China, the audience found an interesting phenomenon. Years ago, there were only pale, weak Chinese men with plaits, or narrow, miry streets in American dramas. But there have been more and more Chinese elements nowadays, from splendid scenery to Chinese philosophy. China, as an economy which has the fastest development rate with one fourth of the world population and a huge prospective market, has definitely attracted the American filmmakers.
