摘要:
中世纪早期是英语发展的一个极其重要的时期。在这个时期,由于诺曼人侵入后,法语在英格兰社会,尤其是在统治阶级和上层社会占统治地位,到后来,由于多重原因,英语慢慢变成了全民共用的语言。于是,在这个时期,便出现了法语作为统治阶级和上层社会的语言,英语是普通民众的语言,拉丁多作为宗教和学术语言的三语共用现象。本文针对这一现象,英语毕业论文,分别叙述三种语言的使用情况,以及互相作用,相互融合的情况,深入探寻英语在这一时期的发展过程。本文探讨的内容有助于其他英语学习者更深层次的了解英语的发展过程以及这一时期英格兰社会的语言使用情况。

Abstract:
In English history, the early Middle Age is a very important period. In this period, because of Norman Conquest,French is the ruling language,英语毕业论文,especially in ruling class and upper class. And then, because of many complex reasons, English gradually became the most popular language in England. Thus, the phenomenon of coexistence of the three languages in England in the early Middle Age emerged. Namely,French was spoken by ruling class and upper class; English was spoken by common people and Latin was the language of the religion. This phenomenon had great influence upon English language. This thesis separately narrated the usage condition of the three languages, and their fusion and influence to each other and deeply analyzed the development of English in this period. The content of this thesis can contribute to the better understanding of the development of English and the language usage of England in this period of other English learners.

1. Introduction
When it refers to the spread of one language, one must study how it emerged, how it developed. Thus, one must notice that there are some borrowed words. Then one will find those words came from anther language, which is a phenomenon that one language will influence another language. This paper will introduce a significant phenomenon in the development of English language.
As the official language of many countries and official organizations and as a vigorous promoted subject in our country, English itself is worthy to study. What’s more, the research of English history can make us study English more comprehensive and systematic. In English history, the early Middle Age is a very important period. In this period, at first, French is the ruling language, and gradually it was replaced by English. English became the most popular in England.
