汽车产业经过百年发展已经走入寻常百姓家,汽车文化也随之氤氲而生并不断发展融入到不同地区的文化中,成为现代文明中重要的组成部分。当今汽车文化在世界各地蓬勃发展,呈现出百花齐发的趋势,汽车文化已深深根于世界各国文化基因之中,因此探讨汽车文化应该是跨文化探讨一个重要组成部分。
本文将跨多个学科,涉及包括:车辆工程、汽车设计、汽车文化史等多个专业领域。以全球三大主要汽车市场(中国、美国、欧洲)为范围,以汽车发展史为主线,回顾各国汽车文化从诞生到蓬勃。通过探讨其各自纵向发展历程、横向对比相互间的差异。来探索汽车文化背后所体现的不同地区人群的性格特点和文化异同同时揭示汽车行业兴替之道,内在发展规律。

Abstract
Auto industry has been developing for more than a hundred years since its emergence, and today, civil vehicles are not just luxury for the nobles, however, they entered ordinary families. Nowadays, the auto culture is also booming in every continent around the world and already became a essential part of cultural gene for all the nations. Therefore, to study the auto culture is definitely a significant part of cross-cultural researches. In this project, I will cover many specific professional subjects including auto engineering, auto design, and history of auto culture. I will also introduce the history of auto culture development from its birth to booming and the modern auto culture in the three major automobile markets (Europe, China and the United States) as well. Through the study of their development and differences, we can get a clear image of cultural diversities in the global extent and find out the internal role of development of auto industry.
The study of auto culture is not only a sense of cross-cultural researches, but also contains profound realistic comprehension. In the microscopic scale, it deeply revealed the status of auto culture development in different area around the world; it gives us a unique explanation to better understand the fundamental factors of cultural differences among nations. Nevertheless, if we look from the macroscopic level, the comparing of different sources of auto culture can also provide us critical guidance and available standard for the development of the Chinese auto industry.
