摘要
现代科技虽然科技拉近不同国家和地区人们的时间和空间距离，但无法缩短不同文化之间人们的心理距离。不同的国家和地区形成了独有的文化背景，不同的文化背景又形成了不同的价值观、思维方式和社会习俗。这些因素都可能给跨文化交流带来障碍，造成无效率交流、误解甚至是冲突。在这样的背景下，了解不同文化的异同关于加深跨文化理解具有重大意义。
在电影《喜宴》中，有伟同父母所代表的中国典型式婚姻观念，也有赛门所代表的西方式婚姻观念。本文从电影《喜宴》中表现的中西方不同的婚姻观出发，以跨文化交际为理论依据，研讨中西方婚姻观的异同。首先，本文在综合中西方前人探讨的基础上，英语论文范文，将中西方婚姻观的异同分为四个大类，分别是：第一，择偶标准上的异同；第二，结婚目的上的异同；第三，结婚习俗上的异同；第四，夫妻地位上的异同。然后，略论中西方婚姻观异同的溯源，总结这些异同大致来自三个方面：一是文化发源的异同，二是价值观念的异同，英语论文范文，三是宗教观念作用的异同。

Abstract
Groundbreaking development of science and technology greatly changed the world and human life. It is easier to communicate for people in different countries and regions. However, although modern science and technology can close time and space distance among people, it isn’t able to narrow the psychological distance. Different countries and ethnic groups formed different cultural backgrounds, which caused different values, ways of thinking and social customs. These factors may bring cross-cultural communication obstacles, inefficient communication, misunderstandings and even conflicts. Marriage is an important element in culture. Therefore, it is of great help to make a research of differences between Chinese and Western views on marriage for better understanding.
In this paper, with the cross-cultural communication as the theoretical basis, the differences of marital values between Chinese and Westerners is discussed. First of all, based on the previous comprehensive studies in China and Western countries, the marital differences are divided into four categories, namely: different criteria in choosing spouse; different purpose of marriage; different marital customs; different status between husband and wife. Then the reasons of resulting in these differences are analyzed: different origins of civilization; different cultural values; influence of religions.
