摘要
在这个社会快速发展的时代，教育作为社会经济发展的重要动力吸引着越来越多人的关注。而作为教育的一大组成部分，家庭教育也同样备受关注。无数的家庭组成了我们的社会，因此，家庭教育不仅对个人的成长以及发展意义重大，英语论文，同时还作用着整个社会的发展进程。由于中国与美国的历史背景、经济模式和传统文化存在着很大的不同，也就导致了中美两国家庭教育的显著异同。
本论文首先介绍了家庭教育的探讨背景和意义，其次回顾了国内外学者对家庭教育的探讨，然后对家庭教育的概念进行了界定，并阐述了家庭教育所具有的重要性，略论了其与其他形式教育的不同之处。本论文的所有探讨都基于对美剧《绝望主妇》的略论，略论过程中阐述了中美家庭教育的相同之处，并从家庭教育的目的、措施和结果三方面论述了中美家庭教育的不同。接下来，论文进一步从历史背景、经济模式和传统文化方面略论了产生以上不同的原因。论文的最后对中美家庭教育的比较进行了总结，英语论文，并针对中美家庭教育的不同，对中国家庭教育的改进提出几点建议。

Abstract
As an important driving force of social and economic development, education attracts more and more people’s attention with the rapid development of society. Family education is a main component of education which also attracts much attention. Families are the cells of the whole society. As a result of that, family education not only means a lot to the growth of individuals, but also influences the development of the whole society greatly. The differences existing in China and America’s historical backgrounds, economic patterns and traditional cultures lead to the great differences between these two countries’ family education.
First of all, the thesis introduces the backgrounds and significance of the study on family education and then reviews the former studies on family education both on abroad and at home. After that, the thesis puts up with the definition of “family education” and states the significant role and features of it. Based on the analysis of Desperate Housewives, the thesis does the study on the comparison between American and Chinese family education. It analyzes the similarities of American and Chinese family education and then discusses the differences from the aspects of aims, methods and results of American and Chinese family education. In the following part, the reasons in history backgrounds, economic patterns and traditional cultures which lead to the above differences are discussed. By the end of the thesis, it makes a conclusion on the comparison between American and Chinese family education and comes up with some suggestions to make some improvements on Chinese family education according to the differences between American family education.
