Abstract
Vague language exists in our language communication widely and makes our language expression implicit and decent. Diplomatic language is regarded as a kind of particular language, extremely focusing on strategies of language expression. It requires language not only rich, flexible but also more implicative and tactful. Therefore, in order to guarantee the diplomatic activities going on smoothly, vague language is widely used in the diplomatic language. This paper explores the reasonable application of vague language on diplomatic occasions from the point of Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle.
The essay consists of five parts. Induction is the first part; the second part explains the definition and features of vagueness and diplomatic language; the third part explains the definition and content of the Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle and their relationships; the fourth part explores the pragmatic vagueness in diplomatic discourse from the perspective of Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle; conclusion is the last part.

摘要
模糊语言大量存在于我们的语言交际之中，英语毕业论文，恰当地使用模糊语能使我们的语言表达含蓄、得体。外交语言是一种极其特殊的语言，英语论文网站，非常注重语言表达的策略。它不仅要求语言表达要丰富、灵活，更要含蓄、委婉。因此，为保证外交活动顺利进行，模糊语言广泛的运用于外交辞令中。本文从合作准则、礼貌准则的角度探究了模糊语言在外交语境下的合理运用。
本文共分为五大部分。第一部分是介绍部分；第二部分分别对模糊语言、外交辞令的含义及特点进行了深入的略论；第三部对合作准则和礼貌准则的含义及内容以及它们的联系分别进行了阐释；第四部分从合作准则和礼貌准则的角度对外交辞令中的语言模糊现象进行略论；最后进行了总结。
