Abstract
Tourist guiding is a major part of traveling agency reciepient work, which plays a leading role in traveling. And the essence of traveling is cross-cultural communications. Throughout the process, language is the instrument of conveying information as well as a fundamental skill that a tourist guide should master. Thus, as a foreign guide, it is a must to know of politics, economy, geography, culture, region, custom etc. In different regions, tour guiding is not just simple translation, but an interacting progress with the goal of tourists’ understanding, accepting and enjoying. My study is focused on the phenomena in cultural shock in tourist communications, the causes of it, and the solutions to it.
My thesis will go as following four parts from the perspective of cross-culture, looking for a good way of interacting and reducing misunderstandings between tour guides and tourists.
The first part gives a brief introduction on the goal and the importance of this project;
The second part is about the phenomena in tourism communications;
The third part is about the cross-cultural factors which have a great impact on the travel;
The fourth part gives a further explanation on what skills the tourist guides should have to cultural shock;
The fifth part has a conclusion on the thesis, describing the limitation on the subject and giving some advice on this study.

摘 要
导游员是旅游接待工作的主体,在旅游活动中起着主导影响。在旅游活动中,语言是信息的载体,也是导游工作者从事旅游接待工作最基本的工具,其内在本质就是文化的交流。作为一名外语导游员,不仅要熟练自己所掌握的语种,还要熟悉客源国的政治、经济、地理、文化、宗教和风俗等多方面知识,了解不同文化不同地域之间的异同,以更好的服务游客。随着我国出入境旅游业的蓬勃发展,关于导游员沟通方面的探讨显得更加迫切。言语是互动的过程,英语论文题目,并不仅仅是简单的翻译,最终目的是让游客接受。本论文主要描述跨文化交际中的文化冲突现象以及产生此现象的原因和解决的办法。
本课题从跨文化交际的角度,探讨导游与游客言语交流中的各种作用因素,结合有关方面的文献资料,探索正确的交流措施,减少沟通中由于这些因素引起的误解。文章包括四部分:
第一部分:简要概述该文的内容以及所探讨课题的目的和意义;
第二部分:简要描述旅游交际中的跨文化冲击现象;
第三部分:简要阐述产生跨文化冲击现象的两个因素;
第四部分:详细阐述导游的应对策略;
第五部分:结语中对本论文进行总结并提出了此探讨主题的局限性和进一步探讨的建议。
