摘 要
语言是文化的载体，随着国际间的交流越加频繁，跨文化交际也越来越引起了人们的重视。因此探讨社交场合中英语和汉语语言交际的异同关于中西方进行跨文化交际具有十分重要的意义。华裔作家谭恩美的《喜福会》研讨了在不同文化背景下,文化碰撞与融合,作者在小说中着力略论了中美文化的异同与沟通,关于探讨跨文化交际具有重大意义。本文试图通过跨文化现象略论英语和汉语语言交际的异同。由于文化异同的程度不同,产生误解的可能性也就不同。不同的语言有不同的表现规则,语言之间的异同,会作用到使用这些语言的人们的思维方式。通过略论对比中西思维方式上的异同,从而研讨文化思维异同对英语和汉语语言交际的异同的作用。围绕小说中发生的事件,在不同的语境下,人物之间的对话所蕴含的会话含义极其丰富。
本文第一章介绍了跨文化交际以及跨文化交际中的文化冲突；第二章和第三章分别介绍了英语和汉语语言交际异同的表现；本文的最后一章介绍了跨文化交际中应该注意的问题，英语论文题目，提醒人们在当今全球化环境中,树立正确的跨文化交际观,注意交际能力的培养，加强文化异同的认识，互相尊重对方的价值观。

ABSTRACT
Language is the carrier of culture. Along with the international communication and cooperation are more and more frequent, people pay more attention to cross-culture communication. Chinese American writer Amy Tan’s novel The Joy Luck Club explores the integration and collision of Chinese and Western culture under different culture backgrounds. This novel emphatically analyses the differences of Chinese and American cultures during communication, thus, it is of great significance in cross-cultural communication. Thereby, this paper tries to analyze differences between English and Chinese conservation in movie The Joy Luck Club by cross-culture phenomenon. In language communication, the degree of misunderstanding is different due to different levels of cultural difference. Different languages have different rules of expression, therefore, the differences between the languages inevitably affect the users' ways of thinking. This paper explores and analyzes the difference between culture and mode of thinking has a badly impact on difference between English and Chinese language communication. In the novel, people can tell that dialogues between the characters contain extremely rich conversational meaning based on kinds of events in novel.
The first chapter in the novel states the basic information about cross-cultural communication and the conflict in communication; the second and third chapter in the novel states the difference and reason between English and Chinese conversation topics separately. The last chapter in the novel states the way to avoid cultural conflict, at the same time, it reminds that people should set the correct value of cross-cultural communication, and also, strength the understanding of the cultural differences and respect each other's values.
