摘 要
如今，股市报道已经是财经新闻中不可或缺的一部分。几乎所有的金融机构、上市企业、金融投资者、乃至广大的普通百姓都是股市报道的忠实读者。故而各个媒体的股市报道在一定程度上作用着个人甚至机构的投资决策。随着股票市场在中国的不断发展，相关的股市报道在中国财经媒体的也取得了长足的发展。因此股票市场报道为数众多，但依然有质量参差不齐的现象，英语论文，就股市报道语言方面，英语论文范文，西方财经媒体报道因其悠久历史及精准的语言可提供借鉴。本文通过对中国的《21世纪经济报道》和美国的《华尔街日报》有关股市的报道的语言的比较略论，得出两份报纸中各自的语言特点及报道特色，可为《21世纪经济报道》中有关股票市场的新闻报道提供参考。

Abstract
Nowadays, the stock news is an indispensable part of financial and economic reports. Almost all of the financial institutions, listed companies, financial investors, and the ordinary people are the faithful readers of stock market reports. Therefore the reports about the stock market will affect the decisions of individuals and companies to a degree. With the continuous development of the stock market in China, the relevant financial media on stock market reports has made great development. Although a large number of the stock news are reported everyday, their qualities in language are various. And the stock news of the western media, which possess a long history and concise wording, can provide reference. Through the analysis and comparison between the 21st Century Business Herald and the Wall Street Journal, the present study aims to explore the linguistic features the two newspapers in their own, and present some suggestions for the stock news report in China.

1 Introduction
1.1 Background
Since the Chinese stock market came into being in 1990, stock news has become an indispensable part of news reports. Mass media paid more attention to enhancing the quantity and quality of stock news because of the growing number of people devoting themselves to stock-trading. Abundant stock news reporting occupies the prime time of television programs or the significant place of paper-based media.
In the research of financial news translation, much has been done with many publications available. Few detailed and systematic studies have been made in China as stock news is. Of course, stock news shares universal and similarities translation strategies with other financial news. But, it is not enough to grasp the universality. As a distinctive branch of financial news, stock news is characterized by its syntactic, peculiar lexical and rhetorical devices. Media should pay attention to the research of stock news and its translation.
