摘 要
众所周知，由于文化因素的作用，中西方的礼貌用语各不相同。每个国家都有不同的宗教信仰、风俗习惯等。人们学习英语主要目的是为了与母语是英语的人们交流，但当克服了语言这个天然的障碍时，英语论文，人们往往忽略了民族、国家之间的文化异同，从而使普通的交流也产生问题，引起冲突和误解。因此该选题的探讨有助于了解中西方文化异同，解除交际障碍。所以，本文所讲的是中西礼貌用语的异同对日常交际的作用，采用文献探讨法，从以下几个方面加以略论：称呼语的区别，话题选择的异同，赞扬和恭维语的异同，祝福语的异同，馈赠礼物的异同，体贴他人方面的异同。从本文中，人们可以更加清楚得了解中西方日常交际中的礼貌用语异同，从而更好地互相交流。

Abstract
As we all know, due to the impact of cultural factors, the polite expressions are quite different. Every county has different religions, customs, and so on. People learn English in order to communicate with the native speakers. But when overcoming the natural barriers - language, people tend to ignore the cultural differences. And the ordinary daily communication may have a problem, of course, it will cause conflict and misunderstanding. So, this research can make contributions to understand the cultural differences between China and the west and even remove the communication barriers. This paper will talk about the influence on daily communication due to the differences of Chinese and western polite expressions and with the help of literature research method，it analyzes from the following aspects: the differences of salutation, the differences of topic-choosing, the differences of praise and compliments, the differences of blessings, the differences of gift-giving, and the differences of consideration to others. From this paper, people can understand the differences of polite expressions during daily communication between the West and the East, and then communicate better with each other.

1 Introduction
Language is the most important tool and main form for human to communicate. It is also a significant part of the culture. Through language, human conveys different ideas to each other which play a crucial role in promoting cultural prosperity and development and enhancing the relationship among different countries. Owing to a variety of reasons, the West and China have such differences. We know, different cultural background and cultural traditions make the West and China a considerable difference in the way of thinking, values, codes of conduct and lifestyle. Chinese and Western culture are really distinctive from sprouting and developing. We focus on group relations and the overall role, advocating the theory of the extended family; but the West stress on individual ability and heroism, advocating long live freedom. Although people have similar recognition of some general concepts, there are still many selectivity and differences. Every nation is rooted in their own cultures. Therefore, people may be confused about others’ behavior during the communication, or even think it is incredible. Politeness is regarded as one of the most important guidelines underlying human behavior. ，英语论文 |
