摘 要
随着我国文化的发展越来越多样化，越来越多的外国电影被引进我国，英语论文题目，为千万中国人民所熟知。电影名称作为一部电影的点睛之笔，担负着概括电影主旨以及增加电影票房的重要任务。因此电影名称的翻译是一项充满技巧的工作，也是外国电影在国内是否能大受欢迎的关键要素之一。而一部电影往往包含了深厚的文化与历史等内涵，英语毕业论文，外国观众有时很难理解电影标题的深意。因此译者必须有中美双重文化底蕴，才能成功地翻译电影标题。本文从不同的文化及美学视角，列举中美文化地域、历史、宗教和思维异同，结合直译法、意译法、音译法、创新法与实际例子，根据文化与翻译的个自定义与基本联系，来略论在市场环境中电影片名翻译的重要意义。翻译的措施有许多种，而如何应用恰当的措施翻译片名使电影更具吸引力，是本文的核心。

Abstract
With increasingly diversified development of Chinese culture, more and more foreign movies have been introduced to China, which were known for tens of millions of Chinese people. As a punch line of a whole movie, the movie title has the important function of summarizing the movie theme and increasing the movie box office. Hence, movie title translation is a kind of skillful work, which is also one of the key elements of whether the film could be popular in China. And usually a movie contains profound meaning, which may be too difficult for foreigners to understand. So the movie title translators must be proficient in both Chinese and American cultures and translate it successfully. Based on the definitions and relationship between culture and translation as well as the differences between America and China, this paper combines literal translation, liberal translation, transliteration and recreation with some famous examples and mainly analyzes the importance of movie title translation in this market circumstances from cultural and aesthetic perspectives. There are many methods of translation, but how to use proper one to make the film more attractive is the core of this paper.

1 Introduction
This paper gives the definitions of culture and translation, and offers some translation methods to solve the problem of how to translate movie title in a proper way after considering the differences between American and Chinese cultures.
With the continuous development and the popularity of the movie industry in China, more and more foreign movies are introduced to China. However, there still remains a question of how to translate the movie title in a proper way because of the limitation of the differences between American and Chinese cultures. Hence, this paper finds some relevant elements which influence the translation from English to Chinese, and focuses on the main elements which influence the translation of movie titles from the cross-cultural perspective.
